Do you have wheelchair access?
Ground floor fully accessible from Kingly Street entrance & Kingly Court ntrance. Disabled toilet located on the ground floor. Basement only accessible via stairs at Kingly Court entrance.
Is your restaurant Child friendly?
Yes. Highchairs can be provided. Although there is no children’s menu but we can cater for children with prior notice. Children under 12 eat at half-price at all times.
Where is the closest car Park?
The nearest NCP car park can be found off Brewer Street on the corner of Lexington Street (approximately 4 minute walk to the restaurant). Alternative car parks are also within walking distance of the restaurant on Durfours Place & Poland Street.
What’s your average spend per person?
£18 -25 per head
What kind of food do you serve and are there any signature dishes you recommend?
Modern Indian fare with an unexpected nod to British favourites.
Signature dishes: Seared Sea Bass with aubergine- potato crush; Smoked saddle of Cumbrian lamb, spiced onion sauce; and vindaloo of ox cheek. The showstoppers, however, are the range of Indian-inspired 'balls', such as crab cake and Bangla-Scotch egg, and exotic pies, such as Keralan seafood and rogan josh.
I have severe allergies to certain food; can I still find options on your menu?
Dietary requests can be catered for with prior notice so let us know as soon as possible ahead of your booking.
Halal meat - We can offer halal lamb or chicken subject to availability. However it must be ordered 72 hours in advance.
Can I hire the restaurant for a large group?
The restaurant seats a total of 75 covers (the lower level seats up to 34 guests and the ground floor seats up to 38 – 40 guests). For a standing reception the restaurant can hold a total of 120 guests We can hire the restaurant subject to availability for maximum 120 guests for a stand up reception.
Do you have private dining space?
We can offer the restaurant on a semi exclusive basis or full exclusive use subject to availability.
Semi Exclusive Use – Lower Level Dining - This area can seat up to approximately 40 guests for a sit down meal and 50-60 guests for a stand-up reception. There is no room hire charge; however a minimum spend would apply. Please be aware that the toilets are on this level and will be accessed by other restaurant guests at all times.
Exclusive Use of Entire Restaurant - 100 guests seated and 150 guests for a standing reception. Again there is no room hire charge; however a minimum spend would apply. Please contact [email protected] for the quote.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We request for credit card details for parties of 5 and above to secure the table.
If the whole booking is cancelled with less than 24 hour notice or the guest fails to turn up for their reservation, £10 per person will be charged to the card details provided. The cancellation for semi & exclusive hire differs and will be provided as a part of the event terms.
Is there a return policy on tables?
The following return time applies for all table reservations;
Tables of 1-4 guests: 1.5 hours
Tables of 5-9 guests: 2 hours
Tables of 10 or more guests: 2.5hours
What is the maximum number of people you can accommodate on a table?
We can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests on one table.
